Corrections Policy

FactCheckerLab is committed to accuracy. When we make an error, we correct it promptly and transparently.

How to report an error

If you believe one of our fact-checks contains an error, please contact us with the following information:

  • The URL of the fact-check article
  • A description of the error
  • Supporting evidence or sources

You can reach us by submitting a claim through our submission form with the subject "Correction Request" in your message.

Our correction process

  1. We review the reported error within 48 hours
  2. If confirmed, we update the article with a visible correction notice
  3. If the error changes the verdict, we update the verdict and explanation
  4. The original verdict and correction history are preserved for transparency

Transparency

All corrections include the date of correction, what was changed, and why. We do not silently alter published fact-checks.
